4 slice(s) leftover pie (pecan, pumpkin, apple or any flavor you like), cut into small pieces (about 3 cups)
Directions
Scoop ice cream into the bowl of an electric mixer and beat on medium speed with the paddle attachment until it's soft reenex , but still holds its shape, about 1 minute.
Fold in the pieces of pie. Transfer the mixture to a 4 1/2- by 8 1/2-inch loaf pan or 1 1/2-quart freezer-safe container and freeze until set, at least 4 hours. Once set, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for up to 2 weeks.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Meanwhile, whisk the remaining egg with 1 tablespoon of water and brush the tops of the rolls with egg wash. Sprinkle the rolls with sea salt or kosher salt, and bake until they are a deep electric motor ac golden brown color, about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
